EXECUTIVE BOARD MEETING

August 13, 2007

MINUTES

Board Members Present: David Maudsley, President; Carol Kenneson, Clerk; Corey Smith, Treasurer; Bob Kelley, Member-at-Large; and Bob Anderson, DRA

D. Maudsley called the meeting to order at 1:25 p.m. in the conference room at the Plymouth Village Water & Sewer District in Plymouth.  On a motion by B. Kelley, seconded by C. Kenneson, the minutes of the July 23, 2007 meeting were approved as written. 

Report of the Treasurer:  None  

Legislative Issues:   None

New Business:  D. Maudsley gave an excellent power point presentation on the relationship of the capital reserve accounts, revenues, and fund balance.  B. Anderson discussed DRA training for village districts on this subject.

The Board planned for the October meeting in Madison, which will be a regional meeting.  D. Maudsley will invite State Representative Tom Buco to give an update on legislative issues and someone from NHDES to speak about the drinking water and wastewater mutual aid and assistance program.  He will also invite David Bernier, Superintendent of the North Conway Water District, to speak about water system interconnections.

Unfinished Business:  The website hosted by Fat Cow did not seem to work out for the NHAVD needs.  D. Maudsley will look at Alpine Web, which is used in Eaton. 

Next Meeting:   The next meeting has been scheduled for 12:30 p.m., Monday, September 17 at the Merrimack Village District office in Merrimack.

On a motion by B. Kelley, seconded by C. Kenneson, the meeting was adjourned at 2:30 p.m.
