EXECUTIVE BOARD MEETING

October 5, 2009

Minutes

Board Members Present:  David Maudsley, President; Ned Lizotte, Vice President; Carol Kenneson, Clerk; Bob Anderson, Treasurer; Holly Maudsley, and Barbara Dutile, Members-at-Large

Also Present:  Gloria Aspinall, Village District of Eidelweiss Commissioner, Nancy Cole, Administrator, and State Representative Tom Buco

D. Maudsley called the meeting to order at 1:00 p.m. in the Lodge at the Village District of Eidelweiss in Madison.  The Board reviewed the September 14 meeting minutes.  N. Lizotte moved and B. Dunn seconded the motion to approve the minutes as written.  So voted. 

REPORT OF THE TREASURER:  The Board reviewed and approved the treasurer’s report.      

NEW BUSINESS:  None

LEGISLATIVE ISSUES:  State Representative Tom Buco gave legislative updates relative to shoreline protection, penalties under HB 473, and the right-to-know law.

UNFINISHED BUSINESS:   

1. The Board discussed the plans for the December meeting.
2. The Board discussed topics for the manual for commissioners.  D. Maudsley distributed handouts listing items that a commissioner should know about his district; to be reviewed and worked on for the next meeting.  Also distributed was information on end of year accounting, which is to be finalized at the next meeting.

NEXT REGULAR MEETING:  The next regular Executive Board Meeting will be held at the Hardy Road District in Loudon on November 9, 2009 at 12:30 p.m.

On a motion by N. Lizotte, seconded by C. Kenneson, the meeting was adjourned at 2:40 p.m.
